Gatsby Chocolate Review
As a chocolate lover, finding chocolate that makes me want to eat more and more without worrying about too much calories or sugar is always a plus. I admit, I’m not the type to count calories in everything I eat.
I’ve once tried that before and I found it to be more frustrating then anything. Trying to watch what I eat was so hard to do.
This chocolate gives me the feel of enjoying the sweets without the fear of consuming too much sugar or the calories. (I’ve given up counting calories but knowing that it is low, makes me feel better)
I was a bit disappointed at first when I only received the Dark Almond Chocolate because I was hoping to try the other flavors as well, but that disappointment disappeared faster than you know it. With each bite, everyone fell in love with it. Keep in mind, that my husband is a an almond and a dark chocolate killer, so he knew he would love it already.

What was also a plus is that he recently went back on keto, so this keto-friendly chocolate was two thumbs up for him.
Let alone, the fact that it is low on sugar was a plus to share with my kids without having to think about the sugar rush that comes with most chocolates. I even gave it to them at night without worrying about sugar intakes.
What I also love about this chocolate is that some chocolate’s flavors change when they say it’s low sugar. The sweetness changes for some reason. With Gatsby, I feel like the chocolate flavor is still there without any unsweetened feel or a twist of any sort.
So let’s take a look at the packaging of this beauty! How beautiful are these bright golden shades! Don’t they look like gold bars??? I didn’t want to open them because I was afraid of ruining the wrapper. Yes, I can be like that sometimes! The shiny gold bars also remind of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory golden ticket. I just couldn’t resist.
Upon opening the wrap, I loved how it had pieces to break off. I’m usually not a fan of the whole chocolates that are hard to break off in pieces. With these, it’s easier to share with everyone without having to try to get equal shares.
You know how it is with kids in the house. Things must be equal or close to equal shares as much as possible, especially when it comes to food or snack. Let alone, chocolate must be evenly distributed for everyone’s sake.
As you can see, pieces of almonds are within the chocolates so you’ll taste it in each bit of the chocolate. Can I add that it pretty much melted in our mouth???? My son loves peanut butter but doesn’t like nuts in anything else.
Well, he loved the almonds in these chocolates. He first ask what the small bites were inside. When I told him that they were almonds, he was a bit skeptical at first, but then realized the chocolate flavor was way too good to not bypass the almonds. It’s a win win in our house for sure.
