    As parents spend time trying to accommodate to their children during the summer, there are plenty of activities in mind. Are you kids busy making their summer bucket list of items to do during their vacation? My daughter started her list and we’ve been working on check them off. Here are the 25 top ultimate summer bucket list for kids that are most popular. These were some of the favorites from various age groups.

    1. Go to Disneyland –

    Who wouldn’t want to go to Disneyland? Look out for some special deals, especially if you live in Southern California. They usually have 2fer or one-day park specials too.

    2. Go to the beach –

    Summer can’t pass without a visit to the beach, the volleyball, building sand castles, and enjoying the tidal waves of the beach. Bring your umbrellas and canopies and enjoy a nice day out.

    3. Visit a water park

    Water parks are a fun way to cool down the summer, especially if they are connected to a theme park, like Legoland.

    4. Movie night

    Movie nights can be going to theaters or enjoying one at the comfort of your own home. Some theaters have the summer special deals so look out for those too.

    5. Swimming

    Swimming is like a must when it comes to summer. Whether you have your own pool, or a local pool at a high school or a park, pool days are a summer essential.

    6. Make s’mores

    Backyard bbq or beach bbq usually end with a good tasting s’mores.

    7. Game Night

    Game nights are a fun way to get the family together and enjoy a night of the family’s favorites.

    8. Go to the library

    Reading has become a must in our house. We go to the library weekly or bi-weekly to checkout books for the kids to read on a daily basis.

    9. Go to a museum

    Children’s museums are a good way to explore various themed events.

    10. Miniature Golf

    A fun yet simple way to get kids to enjoy a hole in one attempts.

    11. Go to the arcade

    We like winning prizes and free food so Dave N Buster is a go to place for us.

    Visiting the animals and exploring the wild life is a great way to spend a day out.

    We usually have one or two packs of water balloons laying around from the previous year so that they can have fun with them.

    Scavenger hunts around the house was a great way for the kids to keep entertained, especially during the covid days. It’s a fun event to do even now.

    Having friends and family over for a good hamburger or hot dogs is a good way to kick start the summer.

    A simple walk around the park, the neighborhood, or a trail can get the day started.

    24. Play dates

    Play dates with friends are a fun way to keep their friendship going, even during the summer.

    25. Painting

    Enhancing on their artistic skills is always a plus for us.

    1. This is a great list. We have added quiet reading time at different locations each week. It gives them a new place to check out and some reading time!
